VIDA Payment Plan & Refund Policy

VIDA Payment & Cancellation Policy
VIDA will honor the following payment & cancellation policy regarding VIDA
adventures beginning after January 1st, 2010:
A nonrefundable $100 application fee must be made with application
submission. This fee does apply to the cost of the trip.

90 days before trip departure, a $500 deposit must be
made. This deposit is refundable up to 45 days before the service
trip, with a $150 administrative cancellation fee.

45 days prior to trip, final payment (trip balance) is due.

44-14 days prior to the service trip, a refund can be made
to participants, but with a $250 administrative cancellation fee, plus
any unrecoverable deposits.

14 days or less no refund can be made to participants.
A maximum of $500 can be applied to another VIDA service trip.

VIDA strongly recommends that all of its
volunteers purchase health, baggage, and trip cancellation/interruption
insurance. VIDA recommends all participants purchase their comprehensive
travel insurance from
World Nomads.

Late Arrivals or early Departures:
There is a $100.00 fee for volunteers who schedule an arrival date
later than the one posted on the website. There is also a $100.00 fee for
those who schedule a departure date earlier than the one posted on the
website.

Major Credit Card
VIDA accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover credit
cards.
Please use the secure Paypal links above for Credit Card payments. Coming
soon we will be able to accept credit card payments not processed online.

 Check
All checks should be written out to “VIDA”, with the trip code and
volunteer name in the memo or on a separate sheet of paper. Please send
checks via regular mail to the address below:

All checks must be mailed at least 45 days before the trip begins.
- All checks must be drawn from a US bank account. For people from other
countries, you can go to the bank and ask for a US check to mail to us.
- Please send all checks via regular mail, as these will be delivered to us
by a courier service.
